The Northwest PA Workforce Investment Board is committed to a quality system that:

Coordinates and customizes services that optimize community workforce resources; Simplifies access to education, training and employment opportunities; Supports a highly effective communications network for the public and private sectors; and Leads to workforce job attainment, retention and career advancement.
Strategic Plan Goals
Goal 1: Board Development
Provide strong, entrepreneurial-focused leaderhip, thereby promoting and advocating for business and industry in our region.
Goal 2: Communications
Increase awareness, understanding and usage of the workforce development system that encourages collaboration among target audiences for economic improvement.
Goal 3: Employer Demand Services
Maximize the growth of the regional economy by providing employer-demand services and ongoing support of new and existing employers.
Goal 4: Youth Council
Promote career pathways and tangible opportunities for youth.
Goal 5: NW PA CareerLink Development
Goal 6: Programatic Policy & Analysis
Maximize the effectiveness of workforce development programs through policy development and analysis of program outcomes.
