NWPA Plastics Competitiveness Coalition
The 14 county region of north west, north central, and west central PA has the largest concentration of plastics manufacturers in the commonwealth who employ over 26 percent of the area’s manufacturing workforce. Among the principal strategies of the PCC are developing incumbent worker educational services--such as training for Master Mold Maker, ISO 9001 Certifications and robotic programming, managing community connections internships, and supporting the marketing of regionally manufactured components for the airline and defense industries.
